He was a friend and a mentor. He loved to teach and share his gifts of music, especially arranging songs to bring out their meaning, and using music to move hearts and minds to be better and make this world better. He was the driving force behind several choruses, but my favorite, and my always family, was Harmonic Insurgence. Here he is, pulling the music out of us, as always making us be our best musical selves.
